Sure it will be Emma as with some of the extra places we hopefully get for the masters this could be the biggest turn out Scotland has had for a long long time.

2 good young blackball players, but how on earth did they get places above tour players?
Forgive me if they are on one of the regional tours, or if this has been answered elsewhere. Actually, now I've had a wee think about it, it's quite reassuring that to know that playing Blackball in an SPA affiliated league doesn't preclude you from being selected for the SEPF teams. Never know how handy that wee precedent might be in the future for certain players

Just wanna say thanks to everybody who has supported my place in the team , not easy for a guy like Colin who clearly should be one of the first names in the team to come on here and be so humble and reserved about not being picked Becoming a bit repetitive now but i really think that the team is becoming stronger and stronger each event and barring a natural disaster i'd be astounded if we didnt cause a few upsets this time round Apart from Colin and Andy not getting in, there aren't many reasons for debate i don't think and admit it must be ridiculous having to pick a team that will please almost everyone Colin's team spirit will be a huge loss however, never mind his ability when it really counts! But all he has to do now is a 'marc fleming' and prove why he should have been picked and thats why i make him a 7/2 shot to win the World Masters [ This message was edited by: fleming_147 on 2012-04-26 00:07 ]

FairPlay to both players, I'm sure it will stand them in good stead for future tournaments. Extra support is always good also.

Peter Fyffe (R4) has also accepted his singles and masters place at Worlds and is going for the duration. Well Done Peter. Scotland teams in all categories will have a massive support. So come on guys and Gals this is our year. Estimate The SEPF will have 80 plus competitors at this years event.

Ha ha, I don't know if anyone read my post on the SEPF forum but basically I wished everyone well and told a few home truths about the SEPF How they had made some bad decisions the year etc I have now been banned from the site and Brad Wight and Mike McDonald haven't got the balls to answer their phones. Spineless bastards !!!!!! Brad - you're not Scottish, you haven't a clue what you're doing and you're not very good at pool. The fact you have ever represented Scotland is a joke. Ask anyone they just don't say it to your face. Mike - I have known you 20 years and tried to support you for most of them. You are full of shit and have no back bone. Heard a story last night about Andy Gerries selection and if true its a disgrace. It's official me and the SEPF are done

I got the same absolute disgrace, for comments me and Lindz put on that were in no way derogatory just stating facts, as far as am concerned now the sepf can go do one, have been completely stand offish about the digs made to to myself and adpl committee members, but to ban myself and Lindsay from ur forum mmm changes my stance am afraid boys and may just be the final nail for me and the sepf in any form. Brad u spineless lad, do not worry we will never ban I from here because we are not that pathetic [ This message was edited by: martinc on 2012-04-27 18:21 ]

Not wanting to start an argument here but just wanna say that no matter how reserved/unclear both Mike and Brad have been with you and your questions about the selections , the comments above are unfair
They'v both done heaps for SEPF and there wouldn't be an association wtihout their support, let alone their hard work over the past ouple year
Fully agree with the selections being controversial and seem biased sometimes hence my outburst after the Euros Teams were picked and you'r entitled to your views aswell , but hard to keep everyone happy
Banning from site ridiculous though hahahahah
. . . And barring Colin not being picked, i think it's spot on

Word Masters is just a WR open event as far as I know Martin. Nothing really to do with the World Championship teams/singles etc. SPA wont ban Pat for playing WR event outside Scotland. He wouldnt be allowed (by WEPF/SEPF) to play for SEPF national team as he has played for SPA one and in the IMs. ----------------- CML Web Design LtdYour complete web solution! Not strictly accurate The SPA boys can play WR SINGLES outside Scotland and not be banned but if they played WR TEAM they would be banned by the SPA Take a look at the SPA site Maxi is running an IPA qualifier. [ This message was edited by: cammy on 2012-05-03 15:07 ]
