Introduction of 3 new cups to the league, namely Division 1, 2a and 2b Challenge Cups, to involve teams from each division that were not involved in any other finals throughout the season. Competition to played to a winner on a seperate Saturday fror each division at Rileys.
Sponsorship of these cups already agreed with Rileys to cover the prize money, if the proposal is accepted Thought pool night was a Tuesday or thursday. A saturday interferes with too much other things, why can't we stick to the Tues/thurs?

The idea is a ONE DAY cup, sponsored by Rileys, held at Rileys. It will involve any particular player for ONE DAY.
Not that hard a concept to grasp is it?

Press Officer - new position - John Hay looked after this in the second half of the season, think he is still interested for next season If not I could possibly be tempted to put my name forward, might finally use my shiny marketing degree for something other than a frame for my ma to show her mates [ This message was edited by: one_willie_miller on 2010-07-26 15:27 ]

Good stuff, this isnt that big a task if you break it down and its not yet another thing the match sec has to do. The hardest thing is persuading the evening express to print it above things like curling and volleyball. From past experience the paper are a pretty poor publication in my opinion. ----------------- CML Web Design LtdYour complete web solution!

When I took over from Furry Martin asked me to put in the fixtures, with the occasional tournament eg Rileys One day,and the paper didn't miss publishing the Email once,so no complaints from me,though I know this has happened in the past.

Thought pool night was a Tuesday or thursday. A saturday interferes with too much other things, why can't we stick to the Tues/thurs? dinna turn up for it then its merely a wee fun cup with a bit of prize money from Rileys to allow teams to play for that havent been in any final or finish in top 2 in their respective league that season
