Sorry forgot about the dress code! It will just be Shoes, trousers and polo shirt. No football colours!

As for prize money the exact breakdown will be done once the final numbers are in so we know how much money we have to give out. Probably about 2 weeks before the event.

Just give it based on 96 - presumably it would be pro-rata if there aren't 96

Like i said it will be done once the final numbers are in. You seem quite interested for someone who hasn't put his name in yet.

Want to see how top heavy it is.

It's for your benefit in the long run. Publish the payout based on 96, then if you have less then 96 all the prizes are "prize x (number of entries/96)"

No possible argument then about the payout.

As it happens, I'm off on the Saturday, but working on Sunday - so want to see if it's worth me taking a days holiday to enter.

In what can only be called a stunning piece of breaking news the SEPF would like to announce that the one and only SPRINGHEELEDJIM will be entering the scottish open.

If anyone who has already entered the competition would like to take their name out then please let me know!!!!!

Fantastic field so far, would expect to see all Fraserburgh/Peterhead and Fife's top guys along for this too. Might be a good opportunity to attract a major sponsor for the event, guarantee prize money and I think you will see a few hotshots from England up in Aberdeen playing.

Think that the broch boys have a golf outing that weekend so not to much from them but will get a good few from fife i think. Have put a post on the cueclub international site but if anyone wants to put a post on any other site then feel free. Not really thought about a sponsor but if anyone has any ideas i could chase it up.
