If guys from the broch or peterhead enter how will the fist round match work, as i wouldn't fancy driving there for a couple of frames?

If a broch or Peterhead player enters and are drawn away from home they would have to make a double journey into Aberdeen win or lose, but if the tables are put into rileys for the 2nd event then Aberdeen players will only have to make possibly 1 trip north, we on the other hand will have to travel into Aberdeen 10 times.

Not ideal i agree to travel for a few frames but you still have the best of it based in Aberdeen.

Jim, I'll send you up a flier for the one day events on the calendar once it's ready. Just awaiting the outcome of the SEPF meeting and a couple of sponsorship deals to be agreed before I can get everything finalised :)

Sincerely wish you every success. I'll stand by my comments though, but hope to be proved wrong.

My weekends off tend to come in monthly cycles (as you will remember from the date changes to my events) otherwise I would have entered.

Once you are ABSOLUTELY certain the events are going ahead, let me know and I'll add them to the calendar.

At last a small hint of togetherness

correct Jim and i think we should move forward with this tour as our main focus and forget about this SPA bullshit which we dont need or want

Also i think this tour could really get pool in this area moving again( with the full support of the players) so anyone with other tour ideas should move aside and let this tour flourish

If you really care about the game in this area give up your pipe dreams and let us get on with playing pool

So most (on here) seem to be against the SPA's choice policy but your basically saying people shouldn't be able to choose/play on two different tours in Aberdeen??? Doesn't make sense to me. Surely the more events for the players the better? If you don't want or are unavailable to play on one then the other is open to you, if you can do both then great (Lucky bas****s I won't be able to wangle that!)

Hate to state the blindingly obvious but it seems to me theres alot of childish bullshit happening here and some people are thinking 'I won't be playing on Georges tour because I'm playing on Dereks' Surely thats missing the point and if everyone is as keen on Aberdeen pool as they state on here the more competitions the better? I sincerely hope I'm wrong on this point

Wasnt speaking about Georges tour as as far i am aware George is not running a tour just a series of events

I actually feel the opposite about Georges events i think the players who have played on the Aberdeen Section of the tour over the last two years should fully support Georges events.I certainly will work permitting

George has put in alot of hard work for the benifit of us pool players over the last few years and i for one hope this continues as his knowledge/commitment is much needed

Totally agree with you cammy i am fully behind Dereks tour and will back it as much as possible, but will still be playing Georges challenge events as much as personal commitments allows.

Just a pitty they couldn't get together ignoring personal differences and with their combined experiance and knowledge run one joint tour that would hopefully unite evryone again!

Spoke to Mark tonight and he will let us know his list of players interested in this by end of the week.He has already got a few names
but will know more after Thursday as that is their pool night.
Also was very interested in holding some future events at Top Break Club. Could possibly soon have eight tables.
